What if I have a phobia about going to the dentist?
Dental-phobic patients, those people who are literally terrified of going to the dentist, will find a concerned, caring environment at the J. Jireh Dental Clinic. The well-being of our patients is Dr. Borbon's paramount concern; her "gentle dentistry" techniques and understanding immediately put our patients at ease. Dental-phobia is actually quite common, therefore, every patient's first visit consists of an exam and a discussion of treatment options. Any dental procedure, unless it is an absolute emergency, is scheduled for a later date. Patients who are dental-phobic or who have previously had difficulty with dental care are encourage to discuss their concerns with Dr. Borbon before treatment begins.
How do you deal with children at your office?
Children love our office. Dr. Borbon, who is the mother of a wonderful little boy herself, places the greatest emphasis on making sure a child is comfortable before, during and after any dental procedure at the J. Jireh Dental Clinic. Dr. Borbon stresses the importance of good dental hygiene to all of her young patients and is more than happy to show them around the clinic and the treatment rooms so that they will feel at ease and have all of their questions answered before she performs their dental procedure. She is also specially trained in "gentle dental" techniques that immediately put her patients at ease.

What kind of equipment do you use in your office?
You've probably never seen a dental office like ours. When Dr. Borbon opened the J. Jireh Dental Clinic, she wanted the newest, most high-tech equipment available. All of our equipment allows Dr. Borbon to offer her patients safe, quick and accurate treatment for a wide variety of dental problems. Some of the high-tech equipment we use includes...
Super-low radiation digital x-rays. The radiation that our patients receive from one of our digital x-rays is so small, they could have 18 x-rays taken and still not receive as much radiation as is emitted from just one conventional dental x-ray.
Air abrasion drill. Unlike regular dental drills, this state-of-the-art tool acts as a standard drill but without the noise or vibration. In fact, this drill allows for fillings without even the use of anesthetic.
Intra-oral camera. This tiny camera allows Dr. Borbon to get a close up view of your teeth, with the resulting images clearly shown on the computer monitor.
Completely computerized dental system. All of our client records are computerized and accessible at just the touch of a button. Also stored on the computer are all of our patient's x-rays, dental history, and treatment plans.
Electro-surgery. Surgery without the scalpel! This specialized instrument allows Dr. Borbon to perform certain types of oral surgery with less bleeding, less tissue damage and more comfort for our patients.
DIAGNOdent. This high-tech machine scans your teeth with a harmless laser light wand, searching for hidden decay before it can even be seen on x rays.
iTero system. This new computerized system takes digital impressions of your teeth for crowns, bridges, and dentures. No more putty or goopy trays to make impressions--this system is comfortable, quick, and super accurate!
