
Dr. Yolanda Ibarreta Borbon has over 25 years of experience in the field of dentistry. She began her career after receiving her degree in dentistry from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. She then went on to open her own dental practice in the city of Davao, Philippines. After 7 years and thousands of patients, Dr. Borbon sold her practice and relocated to the United States.
With a goal of once again
opening her own practice, this time in America, Dr. Borbon attended
New York University where she earned her DDS degree. She
served as Chief Resident at the St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center
of Brooklyn and Queens while completing a two-year general practice
residency. In July, 2002, she opened the J. Jireh Dental
Clinic in New London, CT.
In addition to her degrees in dentistry, Dr. Borbon has a degree in Pastoral Care and has also volunteered for various dental outreach and community projects in both the United States and the Philippines. Dr. Borbon is a member of the American Dental Association, the American General Dentistry Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the New London County Dental Society.
